The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 1.366-mile-long track on Saturday, August 31. The action of regular season’s final weekend kicks off at Darlington Raceway.
Xfinity Series drivers and teams will compete in practice and qualifying before concluding the day with the 147-lap main event today.
The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in practice and qualifying before hitting the track for the Cook Out Southern 500 on Sunday, September 1.
Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events in the Darlington Fall race, respectively. However, Hamlin is not taking part in the Xfinity event this year.
The weather forecast on Saturday at Darlington predicts partly cloudy with a high temperature of 88 degrees and a 15 percent chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
