NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s Cup and Xfinity schedule at Las Vegas Motor Speedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 1.5-mile-long quad-oval track on Saturday, October 19. The action of the seventh Cup playoff weekend kicks off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

In Friday’s (October 18) Xfinity qualifying, Brandon Jones claimed his fourth pole of the season to lead the 38-driver field to the green flag at Las Vegas.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will participate in practice and qualifying sessions before hitting the track for the South Point 400 on Sunday, October 20.

Kyle Larson and Riley Herbst are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events at the Las Vegas fall race, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday in Las Vegas predicts sunny skies with a high temperature of 76 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
