NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s schedule at Indianapolis Motor Speedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 2.5-mile-long rectangular-shaped oval track on Saturday, July 20. The action on the season’s 22nd weekend continues at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers will participate in a qualifying session on Saturday before concluding the day with the 250-mile main event.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in qualifying at 1:05 pm ET before hitting the track for Brickyard 400 on Sunday, July 21.

Michael McDowell and Ty Gibbs are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events in Indianapolis Road Course, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday at Indianapolis predicts partly cloudy with a high temperature of 81 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
