NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s schedule at Martinsville Speedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 0.5-mile short track on Saturday, November 2. The action of the ninth Cup playoff weekend kicks off at Martinsville Speedway.

In Friday’s (November 1) NASCAR Xfinity qualifying, Parker Retzlaff claimed his second pole of the season to lead the 38-driver field to the green flag at Martinsville.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will participate in practice and qualifying sessions before hitting the track for the Xfinity 500 on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Ryan Blaney and Justin Allgaier are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events at the Martinsville fall race, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday in Martinsville predicts mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 63 degrees and no chances of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
