NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s schedule at North Wilkesboro Speedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Truck Series are scheduled to be on the 0.625-mile-long oval short track on Saturday, May 18, as the action on the season’s second exhibition weekend kick-offs at the North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Truck drivers will take part in qualifying before hitting the track for the main event on Saturday, (May 18). The NASCAR Cup Series drivers schedule for All-Star qualifying and two Heat races, which will set the line-up for Sunday night’s All-Star Race.

Kyle Larson is the defending champion of All-Star Race and Truck’s spring events at North Wilkesboro. Larson is not in the line-up for the truck race.

The weather forecast on Saturday predicted rain showers in the morning with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, a high temperature of 72 degrees and a 68% chance of rain at the start of the Cup heat races.
