NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s schedule at Pocono Raceway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 2.5-mile-long triangle-shaped oval track on Saturday, July 13. The action on the season’s 21st weekend continues at the Pocono Raceway.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers will participate in a 20-minute practice and qualifying session on Saturday before concluding the day with the 225-mile main event.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in practice and qualifying at 12 pm ET and 12:45 pm ET, respectively, before hitting the track for The Great American Getaway 400 on Sunday, July 14.

Denny Hamlin and Austin Hill are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events in Pocono, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday at Pocono predicts possible showers in the morning, partly cloudy with a high temperature of 79 degrees and a 21 percent percent chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
