NASCAR 2024: Here’s what Saturday’s schedule at Talladega Superspeedway looks like

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 2.66-mile-long tri-oval superspeedway on Saturday, October 5. The action of the fifth Cup playoff weekend kicks off at Talladega Superspeedway.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers and teams will compete in practice and qualifying before concluding the day with the 94-lap main event today.

The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in practice qualifying before hitting the track for the YellaWood 500 on Sunday, October 6.

Ryan Blaney and AJ Allmendinger are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events at the Talladega fall race, respectively.

The weather forecast on Saturday at Talladegapredicts mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 83 degrees and a 4 percent chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
