NASCAR 2024: Preview and odds table for Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway

The Hollywood Casino 400 marks the 30th race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season and the fourth playoff race. The green flag will drop at 3 pm ET on Sunday, September 29, at Kansas Speedway.

The 1.5-mile intermediate track comprises 17-20 degrees of progressive banking in the turns, 9-11 degrees of progressive banking on the front-stretch, and five degrees of banking on the back-stretch. The Kansas Speedway hosts NASCAR’s three national series, the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.

Thirty-eight drivers will contest over 267 laps in this week’s Cup Series race. This will be the 24th annual event hosted by Kansas Speedway in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Heading to the Kansas Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson is the favorite to win the Hollywood Casino 400 this week, per the odds table, at +350, according to sportscasting.com. Larson is coming off a dominating win at Bristol last week. He also won the Kansas spring race in May this season.

Denny Hamlin has the second-highest odds to win on Sunday at +450. Hamlin is the winner of the 2019 Hollywood Casino 400. He finished inside the top five in the first race in Kansas this season.

Hamlin is followed by the defending winner of the event Tyler Reddick at +750, Christopher Bell at +1000, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney at +1200, Martin Truex Jr. at +1200, and Chase Elliott at +1200 in the top five odds.
