The Charlotte Motor Speedway is ready to host the 65th annual Bank of America ROVAL 400 this weekend. The sixth playoff race of the season and the final race of Round of 12 begin at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 13, in a 248.52-mile action-packed contest.
The Charlotte Motor Speedway, in Concord, North Carolina, boasts a 2.28-mile-long road course. The track hosted the first Bank of America ROVAL 400 in 2018 and had a 17-turn course that combines the high banks of the traditional oval with an infield road course.
Apart from making its first appearance on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar this year, the Charlotte Motor Speedway’s road course layout will host the Xfinity Series races this weekend.
The Bank of America ROVAL 400 will feature 38 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, the practice and qualifying session will open the race weekend on Saturday, October 12 at 12:30 p.m. ET and 2 p.m. ET on USA Network and NBC Sports to determine the starting positions for the NASCAR Cup Series’ sixth race of the playoffs.
