NASCAR 2024: Qualifying order for Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway

The Phoenix Raceway is ready to host the 37th annual Championship Race this weekend. The title-deciding race and the final race of the season begin at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 10, in a 312-mile action-packed contest.

The Phoenix Raceway, in Avondale, Arizona, boasts a one-mile-long low-banked tri-oval track. The track hosted the first Cup Championship event in 2020 with eight degrees of banking in turns one and two, 11 degrees in turns three and four, and three degrees on the backstretch.

Apart from making its second appearance on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar this year, the Phoenix Raceway will also host the Xfinity and Truck Series’ title-deciding races this weekend.

The Championship Race will feature 39 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, the practice session will open the race weekend on Friday, November 8 at 6:05 pm ET, followed by a qualifying session on Saturday, November 9 at 5:05 pm ET on NBC Sports to determine the starting positions for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.
