NASCAR 2024: Qualifying order for FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway

The Michigan International Speedway is ready to host the 56th annual FireKeepers Casino 400 this weekend. The 24th race of the 2024 season begins at 2:30 pm ET on Sunday, August 18, in a 400-mile action-packed contest.

Located in Brooklyn, Michigan, the Michigan International Speedway boasts a two-mile-long, D-shaped oval track. This track hosted the first Cup race in 1969 and had 18 degrees of banking in turns, 12 degrees of banking at the start/finish line, and five degrees of banking at the backstretch.

Apart from making its first appearance on the Cup Series calendar this year, the Michigan International Speedway will host the ARCA Series and Xfinity Series races this weekend.

FireKeepers Casino 400 will feature 36 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, practice sessions will open this race weekend on Saturday, August 17, at 12:35 pm ET, followed by a qualifying session at 1:20 pm ET on NBC Sports to determine the starting positions for Sunday's race.
