The Kansas Speedway is ready to host the 24th annual Hollywood Casino 400 this weekend. The fourth playoff race of the season and the first race of Round of 12 begins at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 29, in a 400-mile action-packed contest.
The Kansas Speedway, located in Kansas City, Kansas, boasts a 1.5-mile intermediate track. The track hosted the first Hollywood Casino 400 in 2001 and had 17-20 degrees of progressive banking in the turns, 9-11 degrees of progressive banking on the frontstretch, and five degrees of banking on the backstretch.
Apart from making its second appearance on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar this year, the Kansas Speedway will host the ARCA Menards Series, Xfinity Series, and Truck Series races this weekend.
The Hollywood Casino 400 will feature 38 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, the practice and qualifying session will open the race weekend on Saturday, September 28, at 1:05 pm ET and 1:45 pm ET on USA Network to determine the starting positions for the NASCAR Cup Series’ fourth race of the playoffs.
