NASCAR 2024: Qualifying order for Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway

The Homestead-Miami Speedway is ready to host the 26th annual Straight Talk Wireless 400 this weekend. The eighth playoff race of the season and the second race of Round of 8 begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 27, in a 400.5-mile action-packed contest.

The Homestead-Miami Speedway, in Homestead, Florida, boasts a 1.5-mile-long quad-oval track. The track hosted the first Straight Talk Wireless 400 in 1999 and had 18-20 degree variable banking, with 3 degrees on the front and back stretch.

Apart from making its first appearance on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar this year, the Homestead-Miami Speedway will also host the Xfinity and Truck Series races this weekend.

The Straight Talk Wireless 400 will feature 38 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, the practice and qualifying session will open the race weekend on Saturday, October 26, at 9:05 am ET and 9:50 am ET on NBC Sports to determine the starting positions for the NASCAR Cup Series’ eighth race of the playoffs.
