NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Driver standings after Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway

Twenty-one races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier became the fifth different driver to win this season after winning the Cabo Wabo 250 at the Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, August 17.

In a dramatic race at Michigan, Allgaier led the final 20 laps, including two laps of overtime, to take the checkered flag.

After the win, Allgaier gained 51 points and moved to second place in the Xfinity standings with 756 points.

Despite DNF results, Cole Custer gained seven points and maintained the top spot in the Xfinity standings. He has a 12-point lead over Allgaier with 768 points.

Sheldon Creed, who started on pole, failed to utilize advantage and finished p2. He gained 38 points and stands seventh in the points table with 614 points.

Rookie driver Jesse Love finished 29th in the Cabo Wabo 250, gained 17 points, and moved to eighth place in the standings with 604 points.
