The 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season came to an end with the conclusion of the Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway on Saturday (November 9). Riley Herbst wins the season finale Phoenix race, and Justin Allgaier captures the 2024 Xfinity Series title after finishing second.

In a thrilling race at Phoenix, Herbst dominated the race, leading 167 of the 213 laps, and then held off the challenge of Allgaier to cross the finish line in P1. With the win, he gained 60 points and finished the season in seventh place in the Truck Series points table with 2254 points, with two wins and seven top-five finishes.

Justin Allgaier, who won the championship, gained 35 points and ended the season in top position in the NASCAR Truck Series points table with 4035 points, two wins, and 10 top-five finishes.

The defending NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Cole Custer finished eighth at the one-mile-long track; he gained 29 points and stands second in the standings with 4029 points.

Sheldon Creed, who started on the front row, failed to use the advantage and finished seventh in the race. He gained 47 points and ended the season in sixth in the points standings with 2264 points and 16 top-five finishes.
