NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Driver standings after Drive for the Cure 250 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Twenty-nine races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Sam Mayer became the latest race winner of the season after winning the Drive for the Cure 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 12.

In a dramatic race at Charlotte, Mayer passed Kligerman in Turn 7 of the 2.280-mile on the final restart and stayed out front to cross the finish line in P1. With the win, he gained 48 points and advanced to the Round of 8. He moved to fifth place in the points table with 3017 points.

After finishing seventh at Charlotte Roval, Justin Allgaier gained 48 points and regained the top spot in the Xfinity Series playoff standings. He has a seven-point lead over Cole Custer with 3035 points.

Parker Kligerman finished fourth at Roval, gained 40 points, and stands third in the standings with 3026 points. He is nine points above the cutline heading into Round of 8.

Shane van Gisbergen, who started from pole, failed to utilize advantage and finished P3. He gained 47 points and was knocked out of the NASCAR Xfinity playoffs.
