NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Driver standings after the Hy-Vee Perks 250 at Iowa Speedway

Fifteen races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Sam Mayer became the fourth driver to win multiple races this season after winning the Hy-Vee Perks 250 at the Iowa Speedway on Saturday, June 15.

In a thrilling Iowa Xfinity race, Samy Mayer held off Riley Herbst in overtime and went away to cross the finish line in P1 without any challenge.

After securing the win at Iowa, Mayer was awarded 57 points and moved to 10th place in the Xfinity Series standings with 396 points.

With a P6 finish, Cole Custer gained 38 points and maintained the top spot in the Xfinity standings. He has a one-point lead over Chandler Smith with 547 points.

Austin Hill, who started on the pole, failed to utilize the advantage and finished 29th. He gained just nine points and moved to third place in the points table with 506 points.

Rookie driver Jesse Love finished 31st in the Hy-Vee Perks 250, gained just seven points, and moved to fifth place in the standings with 442 points.

Riley Herbst, who finished second, gained 38 points and moved to seventh place in the table with 441 points.
