NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Driver standings after The Loop 110 at Chicago Street Course

Eighteen races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Shane van Gisbergen became the latest driver to win this season after winning The Loop 110 at the Chicago Street Course on Saturday, July 6.

In a thrilling Chicago race, Van Gisbergen won after taking the lead on the final two laps and held the rest of the field to cross the finish line in P1 without any challenge. After the win, SVG gained 51 points and moved to 11th place in the Xfinity Series standings with 457 points.

With a P18 finish, Cole Custer gained 25 points and maintained the top spot in the Xfinity standings. He has a 38-point lead over Justin Allgaier with 657 points.

Justin Allgaier, who started on the rear of the field, worked throughout the day to finish P9. He gained 35 points and moved to second place in the points table with 619 points.

Rookie driver Jesse Love finished fifth in The Loop 110, gained 44 points, and moved to fifth place in the standings with 548 points.
