NASCAR at Atlanta Lineup 2024: Starting Order & Pole for 2024 Quaker State 400

After an eventful Darlington race, the 2024 NASCAR season heads to the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, for the Quaker State 400. The first playoff race of the season will go live on NBC Sports and USA Network at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 8.

The Atlanta Fall race will be contested on a 1.54-mile-long track. A total of 38 drivers will compete over 260 laps in an attempt to drive down victory lane. FOX Sports journalist Bob Pockrass tweeted the starting lineup for the 2024 Quaker State 400.

Who is on pole for Quaker State 400?

In Saturday’s (September 7) Cup Series qualifying, Front Row Motorsports driver Michael McDowell won his fifth pole of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season with a speed of 179.267 mph. This is the fifth career pole for McDowell.

The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney will share the front row with him after a lap of 178.844 mph.

The pair will be followed by Todd Gilliland, Josh Berry and Austin Cindric in the top five. Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, William Byron and Chase Briscoe completed the top-10.
