After a chaotic Talladega race, the 2024 NASCAR season heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval in Concord, North Carolina, for the Bank of America ROVAL 400. The sixth playoff race of the season will go live on NBC Sports at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 13.
The Charlotte race will be contested on a 2.28-mile-long road course. Thirty-eight drivers will compete over 109 laps to drive down victory lane. FOX Sports journalist Bob Pockrass tweeted the starting lineup for the 2024 Bank of America ROVAL 400.
Who is on pole for Bank of America ROVAL 400?
In Saturday’s (October 12) Cup Series qualifying, road course ringer Shane van Gisbergen claimed his first career pole in the NASCAR Cup Series with a speed of 99.246 mph. He completes the pole position sweep in Xfinity and Cup events at Charlotte.
23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick will share the front row with him after a lap of 99.177 mph.
The pair will be followed by the defending winner of the event, AJ Allmendinger, Joey Logano, and Austin Cindric in the top five. Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Bubba Wallace, and William Byron completed the top 10.
Ryan Blaney, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion, will start 14th in the 38-driver grid on Sunday.
