The Bank of America Roval 400 will take place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course on Sunday, October 13. The 248.52-mile race will be telecast on NBC Sports at 2 pm ET.
Located in Concord, North Carolina, it will be the 32nd race of the 2024 NASCAR season and the sixth of the 2024 NASCAR playoffs. It will see the Next Gen car in action for the sixth time at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The 109-lap race is divided into three stages. Stage 1 ends on lap 25, Stage 2 consists of 25 laps, and the final Stage consists of 59 laps.

The 2.32-mile road course features a 17-turn course that combines the high banks of the traditional oval with an infield road course.
The Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval hosted its first NASCAR Cup Series race in 2018. The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney won the inaugural Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Roval.
It will be the seventh Bank of America Roval 400, hosted by Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. The 38 drivers entering this week’s Cup Series race will compete across 109 laps in 248.52 miles. The NASCAR Cup Series weekend will begin with a practice session and qualifying session on Saturday (October 12), followed by the main event the following day.
Kaulig Racing driver AJ Allmendinger will enter as the defending winner of the event after a thrilling victory in last year’s Charlotte Roval race.
Hendrick Motorsports veteran Chase Elliott is the only driver who has won multiple Charlotte Roval. He won the event in 2019-2020.
