The NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race marks the 36th race of the 2024 season and the season's final race. The green flag will drop at 3 pm ET on Sunday, November 10, at Phoenix Raceway.
The one-mile-long track comprises eight degrees of banking in turns one and two, 11 degrees in turns three and four, and three degrees in the backstretch. The Phoenix Raceway will host NASCAR’s all-three national series finale, the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.
Thirty-nine drivers will contest over 312 laps in this week’s Cup Series race. This will be the fifth annual Championship Race hosted by Phoenix Raceway in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Heading to the Phoenix Championship Race, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney is the favorite to win the Championship Race this week at +350 odds, according to sportscasting.com.
Blaney will go to Phoenix to win a back-to-back championship. If he manages to do so, the #12 Ford driver will be the first back-to-back champion since Jimmie Johnson, who won a record five straight from 2006 to 2010.
Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron has the second-highest odds to win his first NASCAR Cup Championship at +400. Byron is followed by Christopher Bell at +550, former champion Joey Logano at +700 odds, and Tyler Reddick at +775 odds in the top five odds.
Logano will go to Phoenix this week with a chance to win his third NASCAR Cup Series championship, while Reddick will look to claim his third NASCAR title.
