NASCAR Cup Series 2024: Preview and odds table for Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead–Miami Speedway

The Straight Talk Wireless 400 marks the 34th race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season and the eighth playoff race. The green flag will drop at 2:49 pm ET on Sunday, October 27, at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The 1.5-mile-long quad-oval-shaped track comprises 18-20 degree variable banking, with three degrees on the front and back stretch. The Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts NASCAR’s three national series, the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.

Thirty-eight drivers will contest over 267 laps in this week’s Cup Series race. This will be the 26th annual event hosted by Homestead-Miami Speedway in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Heading to the Homestead-Miami race, 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is the favorite to win the Straight Talk Wireless 400 this week at +300, according to sportscasting.com. Larson won this event in 2022 and will look to win again to advance to the championship 4 race.

Tyler Reddick and the defending winner of the event Christopher Bell are tied for the second-highest odds to win on Sunday at +600. They are followed by William Byron at +700, Denny Hamlin at +1000, and the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney at +1200 in the top five odds.

Joey Logano, who clinched the championship 4 berth last week at Las Vegas, has the ninth highest odds at +2000 to win Sunday’s (October 27) Straight Talk Wireless 400. Logano finished eighth at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami track last year.
