After a 26-race regular season and eight playoff races, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series arrived in Avondale, Arizona, for the season's final race, the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.

Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series Championship Race and Truck Series Championship Race will reward the winner with $1,772,722 and $822,570, respectively.

All 39 drivers participating in NASCAR’s top-tier series will compete for monetary incentives this Phoenix Championship weekend in Avondale, Arizona.

Renowned FOX Sports journalist Bob Pockrass tweeted the total prize pool that will be up for grabs this Phoenix Championship weekend across the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.

“Purses for Phoenix championship weekend, including all payouts, all positions, year-end points fund contribution, contingency awards, all charter payouts for competing and historical performance: Cup: $11,700,064 Xfinity: $1,772,722 Truck: $822,570,” he tweeted.

According to NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race winner will likely receive between eight and 10 percent of the total purse. The remaining purse will be divided among the full-time NASCAR Cup Series' 36 charter teams according to their finishing positions, charter status, etc.

As per the assumption, the winner of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix will likely get eight to 10 percent of the overall prize money of $11,700,064, which means a check of around $900,000–11,000,000.

NASCAR Cup Series action begins with practice on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6:05 pm ET, followed by qualifying on Saturday at 5:05 pm ET. The main event is on Sunday. Practice and qualifying sessions for this year’s Championship Race can be watched live on NBC Sports.
