The second season of Netflix’s original sports documentary “NASCAR: Full Speed” is slated to be released in April 2025, following the success of its inaugural season, which premiered in January 2024. Tim Mullen and Jackie Decker, the executive producers of “NASCAR: Full Speed,” explained the delayed release date.

In a recent interview with “What’s on Netflix,” the executive producers of the series revealed that the second season of the show will release on Netflix in April next year. However, they have not mentioned the exact release date of the series.

Discussing the reason behind the “NASCAR: Full Speed” season 2 delay, Mullen stated that Netflix's programming schedule in February is already packed with other content that led to a delay in season 2 of NASCAR: Full Speed.

“The Netflix schedule is a little bit thicker this time in February, so the next iteration of the show, season two, will drop in April,” Mullen said.

The timing of the inaugural season of the show was applauded, as it was released right before the 2024 Cup Series season to allow fans a chance to recap the past season. It also attracted new audiences. For the second season, fans will have to wait longer as compared to last year.

Fellow executive producer Jackie Decker said:

“We’re truly following the final ten races of the year. Last season, we had some great, great characters, and some great storylines came from that, and it’s the same again this year, which is in March or April of next year.”

What can we expect in “NASCAR: Full Speed” season 2? All you need to know
