Jimmie Johnson, one of the most successful drivers in NASCAR's history, has flown to London for Chris Stapleton’s concert. The seven-time Cup Series champion shared the update via his Instagram story.
Tied with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr. in terms of the most Cup Series titles, Johnson was a force to reckon with during the late 2000s. The Californian racer holds the record for the most consecutive championships in NASCAR (five titles from 2006 to 2010). With a career spanning over two decades, Johnson has 83 wins and 374 Top 10 finishes. While he retired as a full-time driver in 2020, the #84 driver continues to compete in the Cup Series with Legacy Motor Club as a part-time racer.
Being a fan of good music, Johnson once made a cameo appearance in a music video for The Avett Brothers in 2016. The NASCAR legend is currently in London for Chris Stapleton’s concert at the O2 Arena. Johnson shared a couple of videos from the music show on his Instagram story.
