Drivers who are below the cut line are Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, the defending Cup champion Ryan Blaney, and Chase Elliott.

#19 Toyota Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. secured the Busch Light Pole in his next-to-last race before the end of his full-time NASCAR career.
