Model turned racer Toni Breidinger once recalled the moment that led to her NASCAR career

After making her debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2023, ARCA Menards Series driver Toni Breidinger revealed how her father's "random" go-karting sessions inspired her to be a race car driver.

In an Instagram post shared by an athlete empowerment brand formed by NBA legend Lebron James and sports businessman Maverick Carter, Breidinger said:

"It was very random. I was kinda at the age in life where I was just trying every kind of sport. I liked trying different things, but nothing really clicked where I was super passionate about it. Then, I got in my first go-kart just for fun," stated Breidinger.

The Califonia Native's father took her and her twin sister to go-karting class at a place one hour away from her house. The young talent fell in love with racing, and she further said in the post:

"It's kinda crazy how a random activity can just kinda click and change your life like that."

She added:

"This whole new world was unlocked for me. I didn't even think about being a race car driver," Toni Breidinger said. "I didn't even know that it was even something that I could do. Then, once I got my first go-kart, I was like, 'Wait, I want to be a good race car driver.' I put my mind to it and here I am."

Breidinger won the United States Auto Club (USAC) 19 times, which was the foundation stone for her to get where she is today. Now she races truck number 1 for Tricon Gragage.
