After waiting for three years and 110 races, Brad Keselowski ended his unwanted streak by emerging victorious during the NASCAR throwback weekend at the Darlington Raceway. However, after the RFK driver's victory burnouts, an error by Fox reporter Clint Bowyer became the topic of hilarious discussion among NASCAR insiders.
During the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Brett Griffin and Freddie Kraft deemed Bowyer an "idiot" after two recent incidents surfaced. Recently, the former NASCAR driver got a speeding ticket in McBee. However, what birthed the hysterical exchange among the insiders was Bowyer circling out the wrong person.
Shortly after Keselowski sealed his maiden win this season, a excited fan climbed on top of the fence at the frontstretch to celebrate his win. The incident caught Clint Bowyer's attention and he meant to highlight it by circling it on the television. Nonetheless, the commentator missed the fan and circled the backside of Keselowski's jackman, Dustin Lineback.
The insiders highlighted the mistake, following which Bowyer was given the "What an idiot" title.
"Okay, who we giving it to?" Brett Griffin asked (via Dirty Mo Media on X):
"Clint Bowyer. Heard two things, I heard he got a speeding ticket in McBee," Freddie Kraft replied.
Hearing this, Griffin said:
"What an idiot."
Kraft continued as he tried to control his laughter and added:
"And then he's trying to circle the idiot that was climbing the fence on the frontstretch and somehow circled some guy's a** on television."
Griffin took a jibe at Bowyer and said:
"Yeah I mean, Dustin (Keselowski's jackman), I think Clint likes your backside buddy."

The Goodyear 400 at the Darlington Raceway was slipping from Brad Keselowski's grasp until the closing laps, but a late on-track between his teammate Chris Buescher and Tyler Reddick turned the odds in his favor.
With nearly 10 laps until the checkered flag dropped, Buescher led the pack, followed by Reddick and Brad Keselowski. However, in a bid to outperform Buescher, Reddick tried to slide job him on the 1.33-mile track and both cars ended up colliding in Turn 4, thus losing their rear tires.
The #6 Ford capitalized on the situation and dashed towards the checkered flag, ending his 110-race winless streak and Ford's 33. An ardent NASCAR fan climbed the fence to celebrate but had to survive several slips he encountered while climbing.
