The opening night of the 2024 Commonwealth Clash of the NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing Series got done and dusted on Friday, September 13, at Lernerville Speedway, with 24 entries.
Corey Day, driving the #14 entry, secured his eighth Kubota High Limit Racing victory of the season in the Friday night preliminary feature at Lernerville Speedway.
Day emerged victorious after grabbing the lead on lap 13 of the 30 and never looked back en route to a dominant victory. He crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 4.503 ahead of Sye Lynch to take the checkered flag.
Meanwhile, Sye Lynch finished runner-up, followed by Tyler Courtney, Anthony Macri, and James McFadden in the top five. Brent Marks, Hendrick Motorsports, and Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law, Brad Sweet, Jacob Allen, Spencer Bayston, and Tanner Thorson completed the top 10 in Friday’s Commonwealth Clash running order.
