The second night of the 2024 Tuscarora 50 of the NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing Series got done and dusted on Friday, September 6, at Port Royal Speedway, with 29 entries.
Aaron Reutzel, driving the #87 entry, secured his third career big race victory in the Friday night preliminary feature at Port Royal Speedway.
Reutzel emerged victorious after grabbing the lead on lap 4 of the 25 and never looked back en route to a dominant victory. He crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 2.877 ahead of Justin Whittall to take the checkered flag.
Aaron Reutzel and Justin Whittall joined Thursday night winner Brad Sweet and Rico Abreu to win Saturday’s (September 7) Tuscarora 50 and a prize money of $10,000.
Meanwhile, Justin Whittall finished runner-up, followed by Chase Dietz, Hendrick Motorsports, and Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law, Brad Sweet, and Brian Brown in the top five. Spencer Bayston, Cory Eliason, James McFadden, Troy Wagaman Jr., and Corey Day completed the top 10.
