The final night of the 2024 Tuscarora 50 week of the NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing Series was completed on Saturday, September 8, at Port Royal Speedway, with 28 entries.
Rico Abreu, driving the #24 entry, added another crown jewel sprint car victory to his resume after winning the Tuscarora 50 in Saturday’s main event at Port Royal Speedway. It was his first career win at this track.
Abreu emerged victorious after grabbing the lead on lap 15 of the 50 and stayed out front for the rest of the way to cross the finish line in P1. He crossed the finish line by a close margin ahead of T.J. Stutts to take the checkered flag.
The 32-year-old sprint car driver got prize money of $57,000 to win Port Royal’s Tuscarora 50.
Meanwhile, T.J. Stutts finished runner-up, followed by Anthony Macri, Logan Wagner, and Justin Whittall in the top five. Freddie Rahmer, Parker Price Miller, Justin Peck, Chase Dietz, and Aaron Reutzel completed the top 10.
Hendrick Motorsports and Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law, Brad Sweet, finished 13th.
