After a thrilling Iowa Corn 350, the 2024 NASCAR season arrives at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, for the USA Today 301. The season’s 18th race will go live on USA Network and NBC Sports at 2:30 pm ET on Sunday, June 23.
The event will be contested on a 1.058-mile oval-shaped track. A total of 36 drivers will compete over 301 laps in an attempt to drive down victory lane. FOX Sports journalist Bob Pockrass tweeted the starting lineup for the 2024 USA Today 301.
Who is on pole for the USA Today 301?
Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott was awarded the pole for Sunday’s USA Today 301 after qualifying was canceled due to rain. It marked his first pole of the season and 13th career pole of the series.
Elliott will be joined by last week’s winner and defending NASCAR Cup champion Ryan Blaney on the front row.
NASCAR set the starting lineup by the rulebook's qualifying metric, meaning Elliott will lead the field to the green flag due to his performance at the Iowa Speedway last weekend.
They will be followed by William Byron, Christopher Bell, and Alex Bowman in the top five. Joey Logano, the defending winner of the event Martin Truex Jr., Ross Chastain, Brad Keselowski, and Josh Berry complete the top 10.
