In a thrilling Charlotte Roval, Larson dominated the race and led 62 of the 82 laps to cross the finish line in P1.
With the win, Larson gained 48 points and advanced to the Round of 8. He moved to the top position in the NASAR Cup Series points table with 4052 points. He has a 20-point lead over Christopher Bell.
After a podium finish at Charlotte Roval, William Byron gained 34 points and moved to fourth place in the NASCAR Cup Series points table with 4023 points. He is four points above the cutline.
Tyler Reddick, who started from the front row, failed to use the advantage and finished 11th. He gained 36 points and is third in the playoff points table, 10 points above the cutline for the Championship 4 race.
The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney finished 10th in the Bank of America ROVAL 400. He gained 40 points and is fifth in the playoffs points table with 4019 points.
Joey Logano finished 8th and gained 47 points. He moved to eighth place with 4012 points.
