Jamie Little has shared her thoughts on a potential ban on the retail sale of cats and dogs. As the renowned NASCAR presenter shared her thoughts on the matter, she also sent a powerful message of spreading the measure throughout the United States.
The City Council of Commerce in Colorado recently passed a resolution to end the retail sale of cats and dogs. The decision was made unanimously in order to reduce the number of homeless animals and overpopulation in local shelters.
The ordinance passed by the City Council will prevent the pet stores from buying cats and dogs from commercial breeders. Instead of this, it will act as a bridge between retailers and animal rescuers for pet adoption. Appreciating the gesture, Little took to her official Instagram account and uploaded a stories post.
Sharing @globalposotivenews' Instagram post, Little wrote on her Instagram stories:
"Let's keep spreading the message. And change the law in all 50 states."

Cities like Berthoud, Fountain, and Superior in Colorado have taken up the measure, and others are expected to follow suit. However, the state of Colorado is yet to have a statewide ban on pet sales.
