NASCAR’s Tyler Reddick sends a message to Olympian Caeleb Dressel

Tyler Reddick recently showed his support for the American competitive swimmer, Caeleb Dressel for Paris Olympics 2024. He extended his well-wishes hoping Dressel could bring some gold medals home.

Reddick himself is in a strong position in the NASCAR playoffs, currently ranked third with 734 points, just 15 points behind leader Kyle Larson and five behind Chase Elliott. Fresh off a win at the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, the 2019 Xfinity champion has saved a birth for himself in the playoffs. Not only is Reddick making a splash in his Cup career this season, but he also tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Alexa DeLeon during the two-week NASCAR Olympic break.

Amidst all this, Reddick is keenly following Caeleb Dressel, who is competing for the USA in freestyle, butterfly, and individual medley events at the Olympics. Dressel, representing the Cali Condors in the International Swimming League, has caught Reddick’s attention. Expressing his support, Tyler Reddick stated [via NASCAR]:

"I am Tyler Redick. In this year's Olympics, I'm excited to watch Caleb Dressell in swimming. He is really fast. Excited to see if he can get home some gold medals."

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Dressel proved himself as one of the elite swimmers globally. He clinched his first medal of these Games on Saturday, July 27, helping the U.S. team secure a spot on the podium in the 4x100m Freestyle Relay. Dressel is set to dive back into the competition on August 2, 2024, for the Men's 50m Freestyle. Here’s the schedule:

- Heats will kick off at 5:00 AM ET

- The final is scheduled for 2:30 PM ET

Dressel will aim for his ninth Olympic gold medal and his second in Paris as he is getting ready for the men’s 50-meter freestyle final at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Tyler Reddick recently gave a glimpse into his intimate wedding with Alexa DeLeon

Tyler Reddick proposed to his [now] wife Alexa DeLeon in May 2023, and since then, the duo have been anticipating and planning all the wedding chores. The couple exchanged vows on July 25 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, sharing the joyous news on social media that they are now happily married.

After sealing their union, the 23XI Racing NASCAR driver shared a message dedicating his future to his new bride:

"With you forever, My Love. ❤️"

On the track, however, with the regular season winding down, Tyler Reddick will get four more races to solidify his playoff spot. Last year in the playoffs, the 28-year-old driver clinched a victory at Kansas, propelling him into the Round of 12. Despite a strong start, his journey ended in the Round of 8, and he ultimately placed sixth in the overall points standings.

This season, Reddick's aiming to at least break into the championship four.
