Popular NASCAR YouTuber Daniel Kriete this week shared his prediction for next year's Truck Series playoffs. Kriete mentioned the likes of Corey Heim, Chandler Smith, Ty Majeski, and many more who would make it to the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoffs.

Kriete also discussed the NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series and shared his 10 picks for next year's playoffs. In the video"2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoff Predictions," he also named drivers who he thinks could be the title favorites next year.

His first pick was Corey Heim of Tricon Garage, who he named as one of the strongest drivers in the series. He then mentioned Chandler Smith of Front Row Motorsports and the defending Truck Series champion, Ty Majeski of ThorSport Racing. His fourth pick was Daniel Hemric of McAnally-Hilgemann, the former Cup Series driver with Kaulig Racing.

In fifth, he put Rajah Caruth, the driver of the #71 Spire Motorsports truck. The sixth name was Layne Riggs of Front Row Motorsports, ahead of Kaden Honeycutt of Niece Motorsports. Grant Enfinger of CR7 Motorsports was his eighth pick. In the final two places, Daniel Kriete mentioned McAnally-Hilgemann Racing's Tyler Ankrum and rookie Giovanni Ruggiero of Tricon Garage.

The first race of the 2025 playoffs will take place at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina. The NCTS Playoff Race, a 200.8-mile race, will take place on Saturday, August 30, at noon ET.

The first driver he mentioned was Corey Heim, saying:

"Going into 2025, he's one of the favorites if not the favorite to win the Truck Series title. I think he's gonna be really strong throughout 2025. I think he's gonna win quite a few races this year" (0:36).

Chandler Smith was the next name he mentioned, saying,

"Chandler Smith is going into this year as one of the championship favorites. Front Row had a championship-caliber team the last time a couple of years when Zane Smith, of course, won the championship in 2022. I expect Chandler Smith to have the speed contend on a week-by-week basis" (1:12).

Daniel Hemric was next, about whom he said,

"Daniel Hemric is one of the favorites to win the title this year. I don't know if he's like the favorite like Corey Heim, but I think he's got a really good chance and opportunity to win the championship this year" (2:19).

The 2025 Truck Series will kick off on Friday, February 14, with the Fresh From Florida 250 at the Daytona International Speedway. The 250-mile race at Daytona Beach will start at 7:30 PM ET. The season will conclude with the final race at the Phoenix Raceway with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship on October 31, 2025, at 7:30 PM ET.
