On Saturday also, Larson continued his dominance, winning the second race of the weekend despite only qualifying P12. It marked his fifth victory at I-55 Raceway out of seven starts so far. In the second race, Kyle Larson outpaced Donny Schatz by 1.5 seconds after overtaking Giovanni Scelzi with 10 laps remaining and held the lead to the finish.

Reflecting on his back-to-back wins, Larson noted:

"I was just fortunate enough to get a good initial start and kind of be the first one to the top to get to fifth. I was really struggling there before the open red, so that was nice to be able to get Paul (Silva) to turn some wrenches on this thing and get me freed up," via World of Outlaws.

As the NASCAR Cup Series heads back to Richmond Raceway, Kyle Larson, with an average finish of 10.8 in 19 starts there, aims to extend his winning momentum. He’s eager to rack up more victories and points to secure his playoff position further.
