Julia Piquet, the wife of NASCAR driver Daniel Suárez, recently answered some questions about her wedding day in her Instagram stories. She talked about her wedding dress, vows, the cake, and also guests for the big day.
Health coach, Julia Piquet, married Trackhouse Racing driver, Daniel Suárez, on July 30 this year in Brasilia, Brazil. Julia, the daughter of Formula 1 champion Nelson Piquet, wore a white dress and they exchanged heartfelt vows at the ceremony.
In earlier posts on Instagram, Piquet shared several moments from the wedding ceremony, along with photos of herself and Daniel enjoying their special day. In a recent Q&A session on her Instagram stories, Piquet also commented on her wedding choices.

When asked, "What was it like choosing your wedding dress? Got nervous?". Julia revealed that after choosing her dress from a popular boutique in NEW YORK, Pronovias, she had serious doubts.
"The day after I chose it I actually got super cold feet and for weeks wondered if I had made the right decision! It wasn’t until my first fitting that I was convinced I had picked the one," she said.
She added that they invited 160 guests to the wedding party and her whole family was also present for the ceremony. As for the wedding cake, Julia shared that they went with a white chocolate and Oreo cake.
Lastly, when asked about her wedding vows, she added that she said her vows in Suárez's mother tongue.
"Of course! I said mine in Spanish (to Daniel’s surprise) to honor him and his family," she said.

Julia Piquet shared that the couple chose a Tuesday for their wedding date to fit NASCAR’s break during the Paris Olympics. The couple met in 2012 and got engaged in 2022. Their wedding was filled with family and friends and took place in Julia’s hometown.
"Being able to get married in my hometown of Brasilia, where I lived for four years during high school, is very special....It's a place that I love. So, it really was a no brainer," Piquet said (PEOPLE).
The wedding featured multi-day celebrations, the reception had a three-tiered cake, and Brazilian and international food. The couple have also planned a honeymoon in Japan for later this year.
Daniel Suárez is a Mexican-American race car driver who races in the NASCAR Cup Series for Trackhouse Racing and also in the Xfinity Series. He made history by becoming the first Mexican to win a big NASCAR championship, winning the Xfinity Series in 2016.
After the wedding, Suárez raced in NASCAR Brasil and will now return to the US for the next Cup race.
