Retired Cup Series and IndyCar Series driver Danica Patrick took to social media yesterday to post responses regarding a question about the upcoming 2024 United States presidential election. Patrick asked her followers as to why they would vote for Kamala Harris, the current U.S. Vice President, and the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.

Patrick, an avid supporter of Harris' opponent, Donald Trump, later on shared the variety of responses she received to the question.

"Here are the results from me asking - Why are you voting for Kamala..."

Some responses seemingly expressed their dislike for Trump being the reason behind voting for Harris, with one fan writing:

"Because Trump is a deplorable disgusting human being."
"Trump will give this country to Putin or anyone that will pay him. He is corrupt and a convicted felon," wrote another.
"Because she [Harris] isn't a wannabe dictator that has lawsuits galore against him," said a third.

Some pro-Harris comments were in part because of Trump's stance on various policies, such as abortion, as being the reason why they'll vote Democrat this year. One fan responded to the former driver's question, writing:

"Abortion."
"Women's rights, healthcare," said another.

However, many comments went the other way in support of the 45th U.S. President, as they expressed how they wouldn't be voting for Harris. One fan responded:

"Oh hello NO! Trump Trump Trump!"
"I would rather stab myself in the eye with a red hot poker!" another replied.
"Not voting for her!! No way, no how!" a third fan added.

The 42-year-old concluded her exploration of opinions by saying most of the responses she received were people saying they wanted to see the responses of others. Beyond that, Patrick said most responses claimed they'd vote for Harris because of women's rights, abortions, and that "Trump is awful."
