After a Homestead race, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series heads to Ridgeway, Florida, for the Xfinity 500.

The ninth playoff race of the 2024 season is expected to be exciting as the Next Gen car will run for the sixth time at Martinsville Speedway. All drivers taking the field will be racing to win Sunday’s (November 3) 500-lap race at the 0.526-mile-long track.

Along with the win, there will be monetary rewards for the winners across NASCAR’s top three national series. In 2024, the Cup Series Martinsville race boasts a prize pool of $8,991,338. Meanwhile, the National Debt Relief 250 Xfinity Series race and Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 200 Truck Series will reward the winner with $1,441,088 and $672,417, respectively.

Live action of the 2024 Xfinity 500 can be enjoyed live on NBC Sports, Peacock, and MRN. It will be broadcast on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.


What is the Xfinity 500 prize money for 2024?

All 37 drivers participating in NASCAR’s top-tier series will compete for monetary incentives this weekend in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Renowned FOX Sports journalist Bob Pockrass tweeted the total prize pool that will be up for grabs this Martinsville weekend across the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series.

“Purses for Martinsville weekend, includes all payouts, all positions, contributions to year-end points fund, contingency awards, etc., and for Cup, charter team payouts for racing and historical performance: Cup: $8,991,338 Xfinity: $1,441,088 Truck: $672,417,” he wrote.

According to NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass, the 2024 Xfinity 500 winner will likely receive between eight and 10 percent of the total purse. The remaining purse will be divided among the full-time NASCAR Cup Series' 36 charter teams according to their finishing positions, charter status, etc.

As per the assumption, the winner of Sunday’s Xfinity 500 at Martinsville will likely get eight to 10 percent of the overall prize money of $8,991,338, which means a check of around $600,000–800,000.

NASCAR Cup Series action begins with practice and qualifying on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 pm ET and 2:05 pm ET, while the main event is on Sunday. Practice and qualifying sessions for this year’s ninth playoff race can be watched live on NBC Sports.
