NASCAR is shifting from the intermediate track of Homestead-Miami Speedway to the short track of Martinsville Speedway this weekend for the 2024 Xfinity 500. The weekend will be full of thrilling racing action as the 0.526-mile paperclip-shaped short track of the NASCAR Cup Series will host Next Gen cars for the sixth time since 2022.

Fresh off the weekend in Homestead, Florida, it will be interesting to see how drivers cope with the unknown challenges in Ridgeway, Virginia, at the Xfinity 500.

Thirty-seven NASCAR Cup Series cars will start on Sunday, November 3, to compete over 500 laps and 263 miles of thrilling racing at the Martinsville Speedway.

A lot of NASCAR action is coming this weekend, leading to Sunday’s race. The Martinsville weekend will kick off with a practice session followed by a qualifying session on Saturday, November 2, to determine the starting lineup for the ninth race of the playoff season.
