The first round of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff season came to an end with the conclusion of Saturday’s Drive for the Cure 250 at Charllotte Motor Speedway Roval, where Sam Mayer secured his third win of the season.
The result of the final race of the Round of 12 set the eight drivers in the playoff grid who will fight against each other for the prestigious 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
The Round of 12 was filled with excitement and drama. Non-playoff drivers Aric Almirola and Sammy Smith were the winners of the first two playoff races at Kansas Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, respectively.

Shane van Gisbergen, Parker Klingerman, Sheldon Creed, and Riley Herbst are the four playoff-eligible drivers who did not make the Round of 8.
