After a Wawa 250, the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series has arrived at the Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina. Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200 will be live on NBC Sports and USA Network at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday, August 31. The 23rd race of the 2024 Xfinity Series season will be contested at the 1.366-mile-long track.
Thirty-eight Xfinity Series drivers will compete over 147 laps in a 200-mile race to secure a chance at driving down Victory Lane.
Who is on pole for Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200?
In Saturday’s (August 31) NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying race, Cup Series regular Christopher Bell won his first pole of the season with a lap time of 29.828 seconds and a speed of 164.865 mph. It marked his 13th career pole in the Xfinity Series.
His teammate Sheldon Creed will share the front row with him after registering a lap of 164.331 mph.
They will be followed by Sam Mayer, AJ Allmendinger, and Chandler Smith rounding out the top five. Austin Hill, Brandon Jones, Riley Herbst, Parker Retzlaff and Parker Kligerman are in the starting lineup for the main event.
Dawson Cram is the only driver who failed to qualify for the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200.
