A look at Daniel Suarez's 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season
Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez bagged his second Cup Series win at the Ambetter Health 400 race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 25, 2024. Despite qualifying in P25 and finishing stage one in P19, Suarez made an astonishing recovery in stage two. He jumped 15 spots, and in the final stage, he crossed the victory lane in P1.
Speaking to NASCAR about his 2024 season, the Trackhouse Racing driver mentioned that he had a topsy-turvy year; he had some bad starts and some good starts. He added:
“I felt like it was a good year. It wasn’t bad; it wasn’t amazing, either. We had our ups and downs. There were a couple months in the middle of the year that were very, very bad, and there were also a couple months, I would say, lately that we were actually pretty strong. So I feel like a lot to build on, a good year to build on. We know our strengths and our weaknesses, and already we’re looking forward to building from there, and hopefully we can make our group even stronger for next year.”
Daniel Suarez even qualified for the playoffs but later got eliminated from the playoffs in the round of 12. He ended his 2024 season in P12 with one win, nine top-ten finishes, and four top-five finishes, followed by two DNFs in 36 starts.
