Stewart-Haas Racing driver Noah Gragson has secured a new Cup ride for the 2025 season. The former JR Motorsports ace will join Front Row Motorsports next season.

The dominoes of driver transfers keep falling as the 2024 season progresses. Noah Gragson, the former Xfinity Series Championship 4 driver who debuted in the Cup Series last season, is set to drive for a third new team in his third full Cup campaign.

Gragson debuted with Jimmie Johnson's Legacy Motor Club in 2023 before being handed a suspension and subsequent release from the team due to controversial social media activities. The driver returned in 2024, signing with Tony Stewart's Stewart-Haas Racing for his second campaign in the Cup Series. He filled in for a departing Aric Almirola.

However, with SHR shutting down its operations at the end of the ongoing season, Gragson, like his three Cup teammates, was forced to look for alternative ventures for 2025. With Chase Briscoe and rookie Josh Berry having already secured their next destinations with Joe Gibbs Racing and Wood Brothers Racing respectively, Gragson becomes the third SHR driver to sign for a new team in 2025.

The 25-year-old will join Front Row Motorsports, keeping his association with Ford intact. FRM remains one of the fastest-growing NASCAR teams in the series, having already confirmed a third new charter for 2025.

At Front Row Motorsports, Gragson will partner with Todd Gilliland, and a third driver set to be announced later this year. Team's veteran Michael McDowell has already announced his departure from FRM at the end of the season. He will join Spire Motorsports in 2025.

In an official press release, Gragson expressed his enthusiasm for the new chapter with FRM. He stated:

"I think a lot of people have seen the growth of Front Row Motorsports over the past several seasons in the NASCAR Cup Series. This team, with Ford Performance, has shown it is capable of winning and wants to win more."

Gragson highlighted the commitment and vision of FRM's leadership, saying:

"Meeting Bob (Jenkins) and Jerry (Freeze), there is a determination and plan to continue to grow and compete against the absolute best. There is a strong commitment on their part, and I am ready to give it my best next season."

Despite his focus on the future, Gragson remains dedicated to his current team.

"Until that time, I want to say that I'm focusing on the task at hand with Stewart-Haas Racing to finish the season with intentions of racing for wins with them," he added.

Noah Gragson, like his teammates, has struggled to make an impact in the ongoing season. He is ranked 23rd in the Cup Series standings after 20 races.
