Danica Patrick took a dig at Vice President Kamala Harris after the latter sent a 30-second message to her fans on X. The NASCAR trailblazer, who had been quite vocal about her involvement in Donald Trump’s 2024 electoral campaign, ridiculed Harris’ comments saying that were more sad than funny.

Trump, the face of the American Republican Party, beat Harris in all seven swing states, picking more than 76.9 million votes as opposed to Harris’ 74.4 million. Reflecting on his win, which was arguably an overkill, Trump’s communications director Steven Cheung named it a “landslide” victory.

However, in the video posted by The Democrats on X, Harris sent a cryptic message to her supporters saying,

“I just have to remind you, don’t ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire.”

Patrick responded to the video and wrote,

“It’s actually not that funny, it’s sad. No one needs any more of this. We don’t need to talk any more shit. We don’t need to point out how glad we are that she didn’t win. We did it. In a landslide.”
“We need to get to work and fix our problems and get along again. And we might need to understand why someone allowed this video to be released,” Danica Patrick added.

Danica Patrick reveals how much Donald Trump paid her for speaking in his campaigns

Patrick took yet another jibe at Kamala Harris for paying celebrities hefty amounts of money to endorse her in her campaigns. According to a report by The New York Times, Harris exceeded the $10 million mark in expenses at her swing state rallies.

A report by Fox News said that these celebrity events included Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, James Taylor, and Katy Perry. In an earlier post on X, NYT best-selling author Brigitte Gabriel wrote,

“Kamala Harris' campaign PAID...
$10 million to Beyoncé
$5 million to Megan Thee Stallion
$2.3 million to Lizzo
$1.8 million to Eminem
$1 million to Oprah
If any of them wanted her as president, they would've done it for FREE!”

Patrick did do it for free. The 2008 Indy Japan 300 winner did not take any money from Trump for speaking in favor of him in his rallies. However, she did spend some money on buying clothes for herself.

“All the events, rally’s, interviews, social posts….. I did for free. Actually spent a fair amount on wardrobe. But to be fair, I can’t twerk so…. It all adds up.”

Following the 2024 elections, Danica Patrick resumed her role as an analyst for the Sky Sports F1 broadcast team. Most recently, she was seen at the Las Vegas GP flaunting a stunning black and golden dress.
