Samantha Busch, wife of Kyle Busch took to social media to express her newfound enjoyment of red meats. The wife of the champion driver never used to eat red meats, but that's since changed for her.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Samantha Busch snapped a picture of a bag of Force of Nature grass-fed beef. In the caption, Samantha tagged Force of Nature Meats and explained how she's unsure of herself lately based on the amount of red meats she's eaten recently. She wrote:
"I don't even know who I am anymore 😂 spent 25 years not eating regular red meat, now l'm downing hearts and livers too"
Samantha's post comes not long after Christmas Day, when she was also active on Instagram. She posted multiple photos of herself, her husband, and the couple's two children, Brexton and Lennix, from Christmas morning. Samantha wished her followers a Merry Christmas in her caption that read:
"Merry Christmas from our family to yours!! Jesus is the reason for the season! #HappyBirthdayJesus 🎄"
Kyle and Samantha married on New Year's Eve 2010. The couple welcomed their son, Brexton, in 2015, while welcoming their daughter, Lennix, in 2022.
On the racing side, it was perhaps Kyle Busch's worst season. The driver of the #8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet failed to win a race this past season for the first time in his 20-year Cup Series career. Busch also failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2012 and finished 20th in points, tying his career-low.
Samantha Busch explained her and husband Kyle's absence from this year's NASCAR Awards
The NASCAR Awards banquet was recently held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, commemorating the 2024 NASCAR season. Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha Busch were among the notable absentees from the banquet.
The couple's absence from the NASCAR Awards was brought to light in a question asked by one of Samantha's followers via social media. When asked why she and her husband weren't in Charlotte for the occasion, Samantha responded via an Instagram story post and explained they weren't obligated to go because Kyle didn't make the playoffs.
"You only go if you make the playoffs," she wrote.
The 2024 season was Busch's second behind the wheel of the #8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet. The year prior, Busch won three races with RCR and qualified for the playoffs, but was eliminated in the Round of 12.
Prior to that, Busch spent 15 seasons behind the wheel of the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. From 2008-2022, Busch won 56 races and two championships in 2015 and 2019. He and Joey Logano are the only active multi-time Cup Series champions.
