The Buffalo Bills clinched a fifth consecutive AFC East division title on December 1 in a snow-hit match against the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium. NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s former crew member TJ Majors highlighted a trait of the Bills' fans on social media.
The Bills dominated the final AFC East match against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Buffalo Bills, a team based out of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area, won with a score of 35-10 against its Californian rivals. However, it wasn't a straightforward way to victory. With heavy snowfall covering the entire field, the Bills received help from hundreds of fans who helped clear around 2ft of snow from the field.
Witnessing the efforts by fans of all ages, NASCAR spotter Brett Griffin posted a question on his X page:
"Serious question: will Buffalo have school tomorrow?" Griffin questioned.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s former crew member TJ Majors took the opportunity to highlight the hardworking Buffalo Bills fans' 'never-give-up' spirit as he replied to Griffin's aforementioned post on X. Here's a look at Majors's reply:
"Absolutely. People won’t sleep and be ready for the day. Kids included. That area is filled with incredibly good hard working people and they are some of the most passionate in the world about their football team."
Despite being a racer himself, Majors worked as a spotter for NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. for about 15 years. After the latter retired from the top stock car racing series as a full-time racer, Majors worked with Joey Logano, before moving to Brad Keselowski's team.

TJ Majors joined Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s team as a spotter. In an interview from 2017, the North Carolina-based racer recalled how he almost got lost trying to meet Majors and was helped by police to reach his destination.
"So, we’re going through Washington at 2 o’clock in the mornin’ and we got the windows down because we’re just lookin’ around. Seeing all the monuments. So, we wanted to go by the Pentagon, 9/11 had just happened. So, we got off that beltway. We’re drivin’ down the road and there’s no traffic. We’re like, ‘Man, there’s no cars here. It’s so weird.’ Well, that’s because we had somehow gotten into a restricted area that was blocked off still," Dale Jr. explained, as reported by RacingNews.co.
"So, here comes this police car. He’s husslin’ to chase us down and pull us over. Lights blarin’ and everything. He walks up real slow. We’re sittin in there, drivin’ a dually. We looked pretty suspect, I’d imagine. Like we was up to no good....I’m like, ‘Well, to be honest with you we’re drivin’ to Buffalo to pick up a guy that we met online and move him down to North Carolina. It was so suspicious and it felt like a lie when I was tellin’ it. He’s like, ‘Just follow me and I’ll get you back outta here.’ Because we were completely lost," he added.
The officer eventually went on to help Dale Earnhardt Jr. reach his destination by guiding him to an Interstate that would lead him to Buffalo.
