NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s wife, Madyson Joye, recently posted about preparing for a half marathon on social media.
Madyson, who works as a communications manager for the Drivers Advisory Council, married Stenhouse Jr. in 2022. The two are parents to a one-year-old son Stetson Steele Stenhouse. On her Instagram stories, Madyson shared videos while practicing for a half marathon and wrote:
"9 miles at sunset. That wasn't fun and I didn't feel like doing it but proud of myself for pushing through."
Madyson has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Ohio State University. She previously worked with Richard Childress Racing and Marty Snider & Associates.
"5 weeks to go till half marathon," she added.
Meanwhile, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series last season, will return to Hyak Motorsports' (previously JTG Daugherty Racing) No. 47 Chevrolet this year. The two-time Xfinity Series champion won at Talladega in 2024 and finished 25th in the standings, with three top-fives and six top-10 finishes.
Stenhouse Jr.'s long-time sponsor, Kroger ended its partnership with his team and switched its support to Brad Keselowski’s RFK Racing team. Ryan Preece worked with Kroger as his sponsor at JTG in 2021 and will move to RFK's No. 60 car after SHR closed last year.
"Still glad they’re [Kroger] in the sport, they’ve been a part of our sport for a very long time and cool to see them not leaving like other big companies have lately. So, that’s really cool that they’re sticking around and wish them the best, but all our eyes at HYAK Motorsports are definitely looking forward and trying to get our performance back to kind of 2023 season," Ricky Stenhouse Jr. said (via on3.com).
Kroger supported the No. 47 for the past five years.

"PBR at MSG with our little bestie 🤠 THANK YOU @nosenergydrink for this letting us include Stetson this year," she captioned the post.
Memphis, Tennessee native Stenhouse Jr. started racing on dirt and moved to stock cars in 2009. He made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2009 and now has eight wins in over 110 starts. Moreover, the 37-year-old holds four wins in the Cup Seres including the 2023 Daytona 500.
Stenhouse Jr. and Madyson also run a 300-acre ranch called Slide Job Ranch in North Carolina.
